I Spend More Time Editing Than Shooting

I’ve missed so many great shots.
I spend more time editing photos than actually taking them.
Hours going through shots, adjusting exposure, tweaking colours, deciding which version feels right. Sometimes I’ll sit there longer editing one photo than I spent capturing it.
And it made me question things a bit.
Editing is useful. It helps shape the final image. But it also becomes a crutch.
Lately I’ve been trying to rely less on that.
Get it right when I’m there. Or at least closer to it.
Because if I’m honest, I don’t want to spend my time polishing photos.
I’d rather spend it taking them.
